Polish School

The main goal of our Polish School. St. Stanislaus Kostka Walllington is implanting and developing in our students the spirit of Polish culture by learning the Polish language, history and geography of Polish and cultivate Polish traditions and customs.

polskaszkola AThe main goal of our Polish School of St. Stanisław Kostka in Wallington, is to instill and develop the Polish spirit in our students by learning the Polish language, history and geography of Poland and cultivating Polish traditions and customs.

By awakening students' interest in the homeland of their parents and grandparents, we spark in them love and a sense of belonging to Poland. In this way, with greater enthusiasm and joy, they assimilate the Polish language and knowledge about this country, distant to them. Our students are proud of their Polishness! The school's activity is not limited to teaching.

Our students also have the opportunity to get to know Poland and its culture and traditions through various school celebrations woven into lessons, e.g. patriotic academies, St. Andrew's Day, Nativity Clubs, Easter customs, Mother's Day etc. We employ teachers with experience acquired both in Poland and the USA to work with children and young people. We operate under the patronage of the Catholic University of Lublin st. John Paul II.

Faith Formation

Our mission in religious education is to collaborate with parents to form a new generation of Catholics who know and love Jesus Christ and live as his disciples in the community of the Catholic Church. Toward that end, we strive to offer a unified, solid and engaging religious education program.

Bicycle pilgrimage

We cordially invite everyone to the interstate bicycle pilgrimage "Faithful in Faith on a Bike" to the American Częstochowa. The pilgrimage takes place every year in July on St. Christopher's patron saint of drivers, it lasts 7 days and is 350 miles (560 km) long. We set off from Boston, drive through the five states of MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Doleystown.

pielgrzymka_rowerowa It is a time of struggling with your own weaknesses, physical fatigue, and the heat reaching 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The organizer and originator of the campaign is Bogusław Gawęda. The idea to organize a bicycle pilgrimage was born in his head in 2014, when his father fell ill with cancer, and he, carrying the intention and asking God to take care of his sick dad, went to the American Czestochowa. He set off from our MSH Church in Wallington. Boguslaw ‘s dad died on the feast of St. Christopher, and his son introduced a plan to regularly organize bicycle pilgrimages into life.

As every year, each of you can choose the starting point yourself, depending on your own abilities. I cordially invite everyone who is interested. I sincerely ask for your prayers for our pilgrimage.
